NetPlanner’s value-engineering reduced the cost of the overall two-way paging system by 50% without sacrificing any features.

Peachtree Corners, Ga.— February 11, 2020 — NetPlanner Systems, Inc., a leading provider of IT-based solutions to K-12 schools across the Southeast, is currently implementing a major intercom systems upgrade for Dalton Public Schools in Dalton, Georgia. After designing and deploying a zoned, two-way paging system for a pilot project at the district’s Roan Elementary School in 2019, NetPlanner was recently awarded a contract for the remaining six schools scheduled to receive intercom upgrades.

During the pilot project, NetPlanner worked closely with Dalton Public Schools to help control costs for the new system. By proposing the cost-effective Valcom IP6000 and leveraging lower-cost infrastructure where possible, NetPlanner delivered a value-centered solution without sacrificing any features or quality of service. Upon completion of the current project, the campus-wide, multi-zone paging system will also support remote management,  a convenience benefiting school officials and staff with flexibility and ease of use.

According to Dalton Public Schools Director of Technology Stuart Davis, “NetPlanner’s sales and service personnel went the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction,” adding that he and the district administration have been very happy with the value-add features, including the expanded level of service, that NetPlanner has provided. As a bonus, Davis says, the project perfectly aligns with the vision of Dalton’s school board. “Shortly after the pilot project, the school board released a new strategic plan that calls for operational excellence and world-class facilities with top equipment,” says Davis. “I feel confident that NetPlanner’s work dovetails nicely with the board’s goals.”
